Medical Fabrics

Silver heals!

We offer many different fabrics of various weights and textures in both knits and elastic knits, as well as some wovens for humans as well as veterinarian purposes. Since silver is antimicrobial it limits the infections from bacteria and topical applications. It is a natural treatment.

Our elastic knits are used for iland wound dressings or gamrnets, for example for people with atopic skin disorders.

For the veterinary medicine sector we have developed tailor-made products to exact requirements: SHIELDEX® wound dressings and silver-coated stretch bandages, that we manufacture from SHIELDEX® Medtex

Our silver-coated products are worth their weight in gold, in particular after operations and for wound treatment. Above all horses often suffer from leg injuries. Our material prevents for example build-up of the dreaded “proud flesh”.
